Ultimate Horse Board Forum Rules and Guidelines
Rules
1. Please read all the rules and guidelines before posting.
2. Please refrain from using profanity and vulgarity such as cursing, name calling etc. We like to keep things civil and polite and professional around here.
3. Flaming of other members is not permitted for any reason. Flaming is a term that means personal attack on a member. Other members may not be insulted or injured in anway or for any reason.This includes but is not limited to race, gender, religion, horse care, and training methods. If you have a problem with another forum member please contact a moderator or administrator imediately.
4.Signatures must be kept to a minimum of one (1) 200X500 pixel image and 5 lines of text. Signatures with multiple images, images that exeed the this limit, or more than five lines of text will be removed. Also, any signatures with rude or offensive material will be deleted. Avatars must be kept to a minimum of 90X90. Anything larger will be removed.
5. Please refrain from using chatspeak. For example do not use "u" in place of the proper word "you", "cuz" in place of cause. Abreviations such as "lol" are permitted but exessive chat speak will not be tolerated.
6. Off topic posts (topics unrelated to horses) are permitted in the off topic section only
7. No hijacking of threads. What this means is that if a member starts are thread about their horse, other members may not "hijack" that thread by changing the topic to training methods, etc.
8. No advertising. If you are interested in advertising, please contact one of the moderators or administrators.
9. If a member disregards one or more rules he/she may be contacted by a moderator and his/her warning level may be raised. Every time a rule is disregarded the warning level may be raised again. Whether a member's warning level is raised, and how high it is raised depends on what rules he/she has disregarded and how often he/she has done so. If a member continuously disregards he/she may be temporarily or permanently banned from the forum.
10. Three Strikes Rule: If a member has been found by a moderator or administrator to have broken any of the above rules three or more times his/her acount may be permenantly deleted.
11. All members must be 13 years of age or older to participate on this forum. Members under 13 years of age will be deleted. There are no exceptions.
Guidelines
The following guidlines are optional, but highly recommended.
1. The Ultimate Horse Board strongly encourages other members to give a warm and friendly welcome to all newbies
2. Helping other members is always encouraged, be it answering questions about horse health, answering questions about how the forum works, or just being supportive.
3. Current members are also strongly encouraged to set a good example for the newbies. Current members should know and respect all the rules of the forum.
4. Have a positive attitude. We want The Horse Board to be a positve and welcoming place for everyone. Being friendly torward and supportive of other members is what we are all about.
5. Respect other members. The Horse Board has a very diverse group of members. This is great because we can all learn something from one another so long as we are respectful of each others opinions. Remember, it is always best to agree to disagree rather than to have an arguement. Rudeness will not be tolerated.
